The Hawaii Dental
Service Foundation (HDS Foundation) is a charitable foundation
established in 1986 by Hawaii Dental Service, Hawaii’s leading dental
benefits provider.
Priorities
The HDS
Foundation’s objective is to improve oral health in the communities
where HDS operates (Hawaii, Guam and Saipan). Grants will be limited to
projects related to the advancement of oral health. HDS will consider
programs and projects that promote:
Eligibility
To be eligible for
funding consideration, an organization must be a charity with tax-exempt
status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Governmental programs are also eligible.

Deadlines
The HDS Foundation
meets twice per year in April and September to consider grant requests.
Deadlines to receive requests are February 1,
and August 1.
